Welcoming the Best Start Family Hubs and Healthy Babies guidance

We welcome the recent publication of the government’s Best Start Family Hubs and Healthy Babies guidance and its reference to our work – we’re so grateful for the recognition of our collective efforts towards common outcomes for all babies, children and young people.

The guidance is clear that local authorities and their partners should have a shared understanding of and commitment to the outcomes they want to achieve, building on local plans, as well as sector led outcomes frameworks such as the one developed by the Common Outcomes for Children and Young People Collaborative.

To find out more about our key tool, the Common Outcomes Framework, and the Family Hubs and Beyond (FHAB) shared outcomes framework we’ve co-produced with a group of 14 London boroughs, and to access the FHAB framework, case studies, data tools and other resources, please visit our website here.

More resources will follow as more local areas get involved, use our resources and join our growing Learning Community.

Please get in touch if you’d like to get involved: https://www.commonoutcomes.org.uk/contactus
